Milan Square- Photo by 1 Contemporary Furniture taken in our Showroom
This is the best photo for the true color of the walnut travertine. Solid stone like this
full of rich mineral deposit will seem to change color in different lighting conditions.
Shown with the Casa Novalia Rotola and Calesse modern Italian leather sectionals.

The polished walnut travertine is not your average travertine. It is older and harder than white travertine.
Travertine is the most affordable of all natural stones because it's not as old or as hard as other stones like Marble.
Walnut travertine is not only the cheapest it is also more likely to contain fill than hard precious stones.
Milan Console Table - Photo by 1 Contemporary Furniture taken at Factory Showroom
The walnut travertine console (# 8014) is just as stunning as the cocktail table.
Milan Rectangle - Photo provided by the factory.
The Milan stone table seems to levitate like magic because of the hidden leg under the table
that support the heavy weight of the stone (photo above). Shown with # 9358 (16 x 16 x 24"H) Italian stone pedestal end table.
Prices by request only.
Milan Natural Earth Stone Sample - Photo taken by 1 Contemporary Furniture
Notice the fill in the walnut travertine sample above. This is NOT A FACTORY DEFECT. It is a natural characteristic of all natural earth stone. Travertine is the youngest and softest of all the natural earth stones. It is also the most affordable. Solid stone - 100% natural earth stone. Quarried in an old riverbed near Rome, Italy.
Prices by request only.
Notice that Matt and the independent truck driver signed the form above stating that the
table was in perfect condition at the time of delivery inside Matthew Westby's home
free from damage or factory defect.
After the table is assembled in Matt's home, after Matt inspected the table, after 1 Contemporary Furniture
is released from factory defect, after Worth Transportation left Matthew Westby's house, Matt files a false claim for factory defect.
Solid stone has no moving parts. It doesn't change. It can't be perfect one day and defective the next.
The factory denies Matthew Westby's claim for factory defect based upon the photo's that Matthew provided
and published online. The factory claims that Matt's photo's do NOT represent the true appearance of the table
but only highlight otherwise hidden characteristics of all natural earth stone.
In summary Matt Westby isn't telling the truth the Factory says. 1 Contemporary
was deceived by Matt's photo's at first. Our private e-mail publsihed by Matt proves that we where deceived.
Matt fooled 1 Contemporary with his photo's but he did not fool the factory. The truth is Matt Westby
filed a false and deceptive claim. 1 Contemporary does know which factories
will back up their products, and we stand behind that but this does not mean that we
honor false claims.
Next Matt demands exchange for a new table but refuses to return the table to the store where purchased.
Every store in America requires that the customer return the item for refund or exchange.
What is Matthew Westby hiding? Could it be that the table is NOT defective as the factory, truck driver, and even Matthew Westby stated?
We will never know because Matthew Westby refuses to return the table. Regardless, 1 Contemporary has made offers to help Matt.
Matt's lawyer says that Matt doesn't refuse to return the table he just refuses to cause it to happen or "pay for it". Wow! That's slick.
Could that be because Matt destroyed over $ 500 in original packaging required to return an item like heavy fragile stone?
Don't be fooled by the confused Matthew Westby. This peach is a fruitcake. Read our Shipping
and Return policy posted online. Our opinion is based upon personal experience only
and upon signed statements from Matthew Westby.
