The Scala Modern Home Theater system is available with U-Turn piers pictured on the last photo (below). The U-Turn piers are larger and a little more expensive than the normal Scala piers (pictured above). If you want U-Turn pierS they have to be ordered and priced differently. THE U-TURN PIERS ARE DIFFERENT DIMENSIONS THAN THE NORMAL PIERS. You can order U-Turn in left and right piers so the handles fall into place. The Scala unit is adjustable from 40 to 70”W, the adjustable TV base from 40 to 65”W The center compartment of the adjustable TV stand is made for a speaker. The face material is speaker material made to pass through sound. The size of the center speaker compartment depends upon how far you expand the adjustable TV base. This furniture is designed so that if you change the size of your TV you can keep your furniture. Even though the Piers adjust from 40 to 70”, notice that the adjustable TV base is limited to 65”W. If your TV is larger than 65”, you will have a little hangover. Who doesn't?
